Nightmare After Christmas was Amazing!
The GREATEST show I HAVE EVER SEEN! New Medicine got the concert off to a great start as the opening band, even though they only got to play for about 20 minutes. This was the first time I got to see Hollywood Undead live, a band that I have liked for a while. They did not disappoint. Stone Sour, with the absence of late drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, took the stage and had the greatest frontman I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Corey Taylor commands your attention with his stage presence and gets the crowd involved in their entire set with so much energy! Judah and The Lion finally took the stage with a bittersweet feeling for me, as I saw them when the Rev was still alive two years ago. The stage was decked out in a cemetery theme with great lighting and excellent pyro! They opened up with "Nightmare" and a guy came down from the rafters, scaring a lot of people as it looked like he was being hanged. M. Shadows' vocals and Sinister Gates' guitar riffs reverberated through the arena, sending chills down your spine. AX7, owning the night and proving they deserve to be headliners, had the best part in the encore when they played the song "Fiction," which was the last song that the Rev sang on and wrote for the album "Nightmare" before he passed away. They had a piano on stage with a spotlight on it, and the audio of Rev playing and singing the song was an emotionally charged way to end the show. Also, halfway through AX7's set, they talked about Jimmy and what he meant to the band and the fans. We responded by chanting "Rev, Rev, Rev!" over and over again, which seemed to get the band a little emotional, but they appreciated the crowd's recognition of Rev.
